📚 AI Facebook Page Case Study Update
Hey everyone! After a brief hiatus, I'm back with an update on our Facebook page experiment – and I'll be honest, it's not exactly the success story I was hoping to share.
Remember when I promised to show you the good, the bad, and the ugly? Well, this update leans toward the latter two...
After waiting anxiously for over a month since Facebook gave us the green light to apply for the Stars program, we finally got our answer: a flat-out rejection.
Their reason? They claim we're not following their Partner Monetization Policies.
Here's where it gets frustrating – when I check the "See Policy Issues" section, it shows zero violations and states the "Review is not Appealable."
Classic Facebook, right?
I've got three theories about what's happening here:
Facebook's AI might be detecting that we're using AI-generated images.
The content itself could be the issue (tattoo-focused content with people in revealing outfits).
This wouldn't surprise anyone, Facebook's review process might just be being... well, Facebook (inconsistent and mysterious).
While others are successfully getting into the Bonus program, I'm not throwing in the towel just yet – though I am shifting my strategy.
I found a good source of tattoo memes and loaded Post Planner up with those.
Some of them have done well, and others have flopped (imagine that).
I’ve also been playing around with making short AI videos and posting them. I’ve been getting pretty good results (and they aren’t getting flagged at all).
We’re also getting more organic page followers from these videos than we were before posting them.
Looking ahead, I'm scaling back on photo posts since anything remotely revealing keeps getting flagged – which is unfortunate since those typically had the best engagement.
Instead, I'm taking our best-performing images from recent months and transforming them into AI videos.
With any luck, we might catch that viral wave that gets Facebook's attention for the Bonus program.
Stay tuned – I'll keep you posted on any developments, good or bad!
And heads up: Next week I'm unveiling a fresh project and dropping another tutorial about my AI workflow. You won't want to miss it! 🚀
